Charles Pratt, 1926-1976, American still photographer, was collaborator, producer, and co-director of Here at the Waters’ Edge, 1961. Pratt was an heir to one of America’s fortunes, yet devoted his life to work first in the theater and then in photography. He came to Hurwitz and asked to work with him on a film about the edges of the city. His work is in several museum collections, The Museum of Modern Art and the International Center of Photography among others.
