Do You Know a Man Named Goya

In 1966, a group of artists, dismayed by the growing Vietnam War that was not yet the huge political and moral issue for America that it was to become, planned a week of creative protest called The Angry Arts Festival. Part of that week was a screening of short films against the war. Do You Know a Man Named Goya, using the great artist’s Disasters of War series of etchings as material,  was Hurwitz’s contribution.
